Curriculum Vitae

Prof. Dr. Dr. Florian Stelzle is a fully trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He holds a medical and dental degree from the University of Munich. Dr. Stelzle received his surgical and scientific training under the supervision of his teacher Prof. Neukam at the University Hospital Erlangen and is "Fellow of the European Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery". From 2010-2014 he was the Editorial Office Manager of the international Journal „Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery“. He authored more than 100 scientific publications. His scientific work on jaw augmentation was honored with several awards. In 2014 he received the well known Scientific Award of the German Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Waßmundpreis). As Professor he teaches at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen -Nuremberg and leads a highly active research group. After serving as medical head of the „Implaneo Dental Clinic“ in Munich from 2014 to 2019, he started his own privat practice south-east of Munich in 2020 focusing on two pillars: implantology and plastic facial surgery.
