  3. The registration fees for the online Foundation level program are as follows:

      2. All regular digital membership benefits as stated on the membership page of our website https://www.iti.org/Membership
      3. A hands-on program (approx. 4-6 hours)
      4. A printed certificate to be sent to the candidate via mail on successful completion of the program
    2. For ITI Members a fee of CHF 2,000 (incl. VAT). This amount is payable before candidates can access and start the program. This fee includes:

  4. The Foundation level program leads to an ITI Certificate in Implant Dentistry:
    1. It consists of 35 modules divided into 6 learning domains
    2. Candidates take full responsibility for self-learning and successful completion of these 35 modules by passing the formative assessments in preparation for the domain assessments and final summative examination
    3. The final examination is a multiple choice online exam, consisting of 80 questions to be completed in 90 minutes. The pass rate for this exam is 60% and must be completed successfully for certification
    4. Progress through the domains is conditional on successful completion of the preceding domain’s assessment
    5. For certification, the candidate must also successfully complete a hands-on program at a designated location. If candidates are unable to find this hands-on program in their immediate geographic vicinity through a partner university or institution, they may contact us at [email protected] for support.
  5. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, a hands-on program is cancelled by the ITI, the candidate will be duly informed at least two weeks in advance. In this case the ITI has no liability for costs incurred by the participant for travel and accommodation and a new date for the hands-on program will be offered to the participant.
  6. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, a candidate is unable to attend the hands-on program for which they are registered, cancellation must be received at least 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled date. In this case, an alternative date and opportunity will be provided at no additional cost to the candidate.
  7. If the candidate does not attend the hands-on program without cancelling at least 2 weeks before, the fee is forfeited and a fee of CHF 500 (incl. VAT) will be charged when rebooking the hands-on program.
  8. Candidates will receive immediate feedback on their score and performance as soon as a formative assessment or summative examination has been completed.
  9. Means of Appeal: There is no means of appeal. By consenting to the terms and conditions, candidates agree not to pursue any legal action against the ITI in regard to assessment or examination results.
  10. If candidates fail the multiple-choice exam, they may retake the exam as many times as they wish at an additional fee of CHF 250 (incl. VAT) for each attempt.
  11. The certificate provided by the ITI does not in any way officially qualify participants to place dental implants. Local laws and regulations apply.
  12. Where applicable, participants can obtain Continuing Education hours for the learning content they have covered in the ITI Curriculum.
  13. All fees once paid are non-refundable.
