Hard and soft tissue changes following tooth loss often result in challenging situations when planning for tooth replacement. This presentation will summarise the evidence for currently used techniques for augmentation or reconstruction of resorbed alveolar ridges to facilitate implant placement, with clinical cases used to illustrate these techniques.
