When a patient asks about an implant, they are asking for a replacement for their failing tooth.

Very often their expectation is that it will take one appointment and they will walk out of the surgery with a fully functioning, and aesthetic new tooth, that will last them for life.

This is very much as a result of expectations they have been given through generic advertising to lure them into a practice.

But are there times when we can offer this service?

On this evening we will discuss the pros and cons of the immediate extraction and implantation technique, as well as conditions that allow immediate loading.
