Perth Central Study Club is pleased to welcome Dr Liz Lam.

Liz is a Specialist Periodontist working in private practice in Perth, WA. She obtained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide and a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Western Australia. She is passionate about periodontal and peri-implant health and disease, mucogingival conditions, patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is a director of the UWA ITI Study Club and a member of ANZAP, ASP, Osteology Foundation and the ADA.

Her topic will cover an important field of new research with relevant clinical applications including:

• An update on the scientific literature surrounding the type of implant-abutment connections, emergence profiles and abutment design and their influence on peri-implant health and stability.
• A group discussion on how to “fix” this, who to ask, and what to ask for.
