Comparative Analysis of Treatment Protocols for Implants in the Aesthetic Zone - 19 year follow-up
Aims:
To review the treatment protocols we used to treat a patient 19 years ago and the status of this complex case today. To contrast the techniques used and those we might choose today.
We will cover extraction techniques, socket preservation, 3D implant placement, surgical guides, the influence of the medical history on the treatment, SPT program, PRA/IDRA protocols and the treatment of peri-implantitis.
Learning Objectives:
- Recognise the development in our knowledge in treating demanding aesthetic cases.
- Recognise the importance of risk assessment.
- How to learn from our experiences.
- How to recognise where to focus our professional development.
