It is with great pleasure that we would like to invite you to be part of our next Auckland CBD ITI Study Club meeting.

With the recent updates to the COVID-19 Level 2 restrictions in NZ, we are thrilled to be able to invite you back to the practice for our upcoming ITI Study Club Meeting.

This will take place on Wednesday 10^th June 2020 6:00-8:00pm.

Dr’s Rebecca Ellis & Michael Danesh-Meyer will present on Ridge Preservation and its role within the realm of implant dentistry.

In light of our current climate this clinical topic is more relevant than ever. Our everyday practice has being challenged by restrictions to clinical protocols as well as the financial implications of this crisis affecting patient cashflow, which ultimately will impact on treatment options and decisions.

As an implant dentist we are all familiar with the rationale for preserving both the soft and hard tissue profile prior to implant tooth replacement or even the benefits this approach offers for alternative tooth replacement options within the aesthetic zone.

However, how much do we really know?

This study club meeting with be used as a refresher on the fundamental principles of ridge preservation and review the techniques and biomaterials currently available.

Using the ITI academy tools we will collectively review the do’s and don’ts of ridge preservation, before applying this technique to a number of different cases.

We will discuss and review the benefits of this approach as a short-term, mid-term and long-term treatment modality, and how we can use this technique to meet the expectations of the individual patient and guide them through their tooth replacement journey.
