COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will review the fundamentals of esthetic analysis and pre-operative planning as it pertains to various tooth replacement modalities in the aesthetic zone. Complication management, done both prosthetically and surgically, will be reviewed in both theory and practice, with real world examples.
COURSE OBJECT:
- Importance of comprehensive site analysis and pre-operative planning including proper positioning of the implant and provisionalization
- Application of traditional dental aesthetic assessment parameters as they translate to implantology and prosthetic tooth replacement
- Esthetic complications and their surgical and non-surgical management
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Dmitriy Klass serves as a practicing Periodontist at the Pennsylvania Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics in Northeast Philadelphia. He graduated from the NYU College of Dentistry, received a certificate in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, and is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. At Boston University, he received a Master’s degree for designing and performing a clinical trial to test the accuracy of robotically-assisted dental implant surgery without excess radiation; this work was later published.
