Clinical Outcomes of Immediate/Early Loading of Dental Implants: 14-Year Follow-up
This lecture provides insights on clinical requirements for immediate loading; benefits of the technique are also presented.
Based on personal clinical research that was published in 2005, the lecturer presents his experience on immediate loading compared to early loading in the posterior mandible of partially edentulous patients. Some clinical parameters as ISQ measures, vascularity, and bone density are taken into consideration in his research.
Additional results based on the same research protocol are presented for the posterior maxilla and for zirconia implants.

At the end of this Congress Lecture you should be able to…
- discuss different loading protocols
- describe clinical conditions that might be prerequisites for immediate loading
- discuss the benefits of immediate and early loading in partially edentulous patients
