This meeting will delve into the latest trends in managing peri-implantitis through an innovative electrolytic cleaning method. We will explore how this technology disrupts biofilm and enhances the longevity of dental implants. The discussion will include the scientific basis behind this approach, its clinical application, and its effectiveness in treatment of peri-implantitis.

Learning Objective:

1. Understand Electrolytic Cleaning: Gain knowledge on how electrolytic methods work to clean implant surfaces, their biological impact, and why they are gaining traction in modern dental care.
2. Clinical Integration: Evaluate how this technology can be integrated into treatment of peri-implantitis through clinical examples; discuss its benefits and limitations, and effectiveness.
3. Preventive Strategies: Revise and update the fundamentals of prevention and management of peri-implantitis, including patient selection, maintenance protocols, and peri-implant soft tissue management to ensure implant longevity.
