Abstract:

Static guided surgery offers a high level of precision and predictability in implant placement, especially for challenging cases. Dr. Tommy Fung will delve into the fundamentals of static guided surgery, explaining the planning process, the creation of surgical templates, and best practices for accurate implant positioning. Key surgical tips and potential complications will also be covered to ensure clinicians can confidently integrate this technique into their practice.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Gain an understanding of the advantages and limitations of static guided surgery in implant dentistry.
  2. Learn how to create and utilize surgical templates effectively for improved implant placement.
  3. Identify common challenges during static guided surgery and how to mitigate them for optimal outcomes.


Please note: This lecture will primarily be conducted in Cantonese, with supplementary by English.
