Carames Full Arch Clinical Experiences
Course information
The rehabilitation of edentulous jaws with immediate loading of osseointegrated implants has been proven to be a predictable treatment over time. The Carames classification was designed to enable personalized treatment of edentulous patients, conside- ring each individual ́s expectations, clinical situation, and finan- cial capabilities. Patient-specific treatment protocols are based on the vast experience and anatomic classification developed by Prof. João Caramês, who host the course. Treatment planning, from analogical to digital and decision-making strategies need to consi- der several factors such as patient selection, implant distribution, number of implants, implant type, rehabilitation design and soft tissue management.
