Course Information

Using a lecture and case-based format, this four-day program aims to broaden the participants' knowledge and approach to the management of dental implant therapy. The course begins with an introduction to new trends in treatment planning in dental implantology, followed by practical and evidence-based guidelines for analysis of risk and treatment planning, stepwise demonstrations of surgical and prosthodontic protocols, up-to-date analyses of adjunctive surgical procedures, provision of insight into how to time treatment in the context of the growing individual, as well as tips for troubleshooting and strategies for dealing with complications. Content is delivered through multiple case histories and discussion between participants and faculty. Surgical and prosthodontic procedures are transmitted live, followed by hands-on exercises, including CT-assisted computer-guided surgery simulation to allow participants to fully understand and practice what they have seen and learned.
