Established more than 20 years ago, the André Schroeder Research Prize is an annual award presented by the ITI in honor of the late Professor André Schroeder (1918-2004), the founding ITI President, who pioneered implant dentistry and whose lifework contributed significantly to modern dentistry.
The André Schroeder Research Prize is today one of the most highly sought-after awards in implant dentistry. It is awarded to independent researchers for the advancement of dental research. The aim is to promote new scientific findings in implant dentistry, oral tissue regeneration and related fields.
The ITI awards two André Schroeder Research prizes annually for original research in the fields of implant dentistry and oral tissue regeneration:

Each winner will receive CHF 10,000 and an engraved gold medallion.
Applications are now open for 2017 and will be accepted until September 15, 2016. To apply download the André Schroeder Research Prize Application Form including the terms and conditions for participation. Please note that only original research papers will be considered.
The completed application form and additional documents as outlined in the application form must be saved as PDF files and emailed to ITI Headquarters to firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications submitted by conventional mail will not be accepted.
The André Schroeder Research Prizes are adjudicated by the ITI Research Committee, which is made up of international specialists in implant dentistry and related fields.
The 2017 André Schroeder Research Prizes will be presented at the ITI World Symposium in Basel, which will take place from May 04 to 06, 2017.
