Chairman
Dr. Raj Patel
ITI Chairman UK and Ireland Section
ITI Fellow
ITI Registered Speaker
I am the ITI Chairman of the UK and Ireland section having taken up the post in October 2022. My background is around surgical dentistry including all aspects of oral surgery and implant dentistry. I am involved in mentoring new dentists in placing dental implants and teaching dentists about implant and surgical based dentistry and a registered speaker for the ITI (International Team for Implantology). I jointly run the ITI study club for Chelsea which helps promote post graduate education for local and national dentists. I have also completed a master's in medical law and Ethics which has enabled me to have a greater insight about the role of consent, patient understanding and mitigation risks in surgical procedures.
