About the Scholarship Center

The faculty has been involved in implant education for over 25 years. Education of DDS, PHD as well as Oral & Maxillofacial surgery residents has been the focus. Treatment planning Fundamental surgical and prosthetic principles is the foundation of our department. Our faculty has a long history of presenting their clinical as well as research projects at multiple National and International meetings.

The education of undergraduate as well as graduate students in clinical implant dentistry, based on ITI curriculum, as well as clinical and basic science publications, has been our focus.

The faculty is actively involved with the treatment of patients with failing single or multiple teeth. Using the SAC assessment, the students are educated in treatment planning and the execution of immediate vs delayed implant placement.

Patients with full arch edentulism or with terminal dentition are also a major focus of our department. The use of analogue as well as guided surgery is utilized in the treatment of this group of patients. The indication for delayed vs immediate loading is also emphasized in the curriculum. Using the SAC criterion.
