Additional information on the clinical activities

The ITI scholar can expect to gain extensive clinical experience both in placement and restoration of dental implants. Didactic coursework, primarily in seminar format, is available and encouraged. Case conferences and treatment planning seminars occur weekly and the scholar is expected to participate.
It must be emphasized that the ITI Scholar's program year will reflect the ITI Scholar's personal wish for experience. Those wishing to further their surgical exposure will spend more time with the surgical faculty while those interested in prosthodontics will spend the majority of their time in the prosthodontic clinic. Emphasis is placed on digital procedure experience.
ITI Scholars will participate in case conference and treatment planning seminars as well as other didactic exposure as agreed to between faculty and the ITI Scholar. The key to this Scholarship opportunity is flexibility in surgical and prosthodontic experience.

Cost of living

We strongly advise you to consider cost of living (housing/rent, food, transportation, etc.) in the city of this ITI Scholarship Center, as certain destinations can be very expensive. It is essential to understand that the ITI scholarship stipend does not cover all living expenses but only contributes to these. Therefore, make sure you are fully aware of the cost of living in the city of this Scholarship Center if you consider applying for it. You must be prepared to co-finance the cost of living out of your own pocket. The ITI cannot provide additional funding during the scholarship year.
