The department is home to both the Division of Periodontics and Prosthodontics, giving the scholar a unique and balanced exposure to surgical and restorative implant therapy.\r\n\r\nITI Scholars work directly with Dr. El Kholy, the center chair, along with borard-certified periodontics and prosthodontic faculty. The clinical activities take place within the state-of-the-art Implantology Center at the Columbia University Medical Center. It is essential to understand that the ITI scholarship stipend does not cover all living expenses but only contributes to these. Therefore, make sure you are fully aware of the cost of living in the city of this Scholarship Center if you consider applying for it. You must be prepared to co-finance the cost of living out of your own pocket.
