Im Jahr 2021 wurde Dubai Health als erstes integriertes akademisches Gesundheitssystem des Emirats gegr\u00fcndet. Seitdem hat die MBRU die Bildungs- und Forschungsaufgaben von \u201eDubai Health\u201c geleitet und die Universit\u00e4t damit in den Mittelpunkt eines einheitlichen akademischen und klinischen \u00d6kosystems ger\u00fcckt. \n\nDas Stipendium des International Team for Implantology (ITI) an der MBRU wird vom Fachbereich Parodontologie verwaltet. Ein Eckpfeiler des akademischen Modells der Abteilung ist ihre langj\u00e4hrige und strategische Partnerschaft mit dem ITI. Als ITI-Campus integriert die Abteilung die p\u00e4dagogischen Prinzipien des ITI in die postgraduale Ausbildung und stellt so sicher, dass die Assistenz\u00e4rzte mit evidenzbasierter Implantologie, kritischem Denken und zeitgem\u00e4\u00dfer klinischer Entscheidungsfindung vertraut gemacht werden. Unsere Postgraduierten nehmen aktiv an ITI-Fortbildungsaktivit\u00e4ten teil, darunter Studienkreise, Symposien und internationale Kongresse, wodurch bereits fr\u00fchzeitig der Austausch mit der globalen Implantologie-Fachgemeinschaft gef\u00f6rdert wird.\n\nDie Abteilung f\u00fcr Parodontologie an der MBRU ist zudem Sitz mehrerer vom ITI unterst\u00fctzter klinischer Forschungsinitiativen. Insbesondere sind wir ein teilnehmendes Zentrum an einer von der ITI unterst\u00fctzten multizentrischen klinischen Studie, die in Zusammenarbeit mit der University of Otago in Neuseeland durchgef\u00fchrt wird. Diese Partnerschaft unterstreicht unser Engagement f\u00fcr klinisch relevante Forschung, internationale Zusammenarbeit und Beitr\u00e4ge zur globalen Evidenzbasis in der Parodontologie und Implantologie.\r\nParallel dazu pflegt die Abteilung eine enge akademische Zusammenarbeit mit dem Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS).
