Sie entstanden urspr\u00fcnglich als zahnmedizinische Klinik der medizinischen Fakult\u00e4t der Universit\u00e4t Peking und entwickelten sich schlie\u00dflich zu der Einrichtung, wie sie heute besteht \u2013 einer einzigartigen Kombination aus Lehre, klinischer Versorgung, Forschung und Pr\u00e4vention im Bereich der Mundgesundheit. Sie umfasst nicht nur die Fakult\u00e4t selbst, sondern auch eine international renommierte Klinik und ein Forschungsinstitut. Im Jahr 2017 belegte die PKU-SS im QS-Weltuniversit\u00e4tsranking im Fachbereich Zahnmedizin den 13. Platz.\r\n\r\nDas ITI-Stipendienzentrum an der PKU-SS umfasst vier Abteilungen der Zahnmedizinischen Fakult\u00e4t: die Abteilung f\u00fcr Prothetik, die Abteilung f\u00fcr Implantologie, die Abteilung f\u00fcr Parodontologie und die Abteilung f\u00fcr Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie. J\u00e4hrlich werden mehr als 10.000 Implantate eingesetzt. Das Zentrum legt besonderen Schwerpunkt auf den neuesten Stand der digitalen Implantologie, der \u00e4sthetischen Zahnmedizin, der Implantatokklusion sowie auf die Augmentation von Weich- und Hartgewebe und die Herstellung von Restaurationen. ITI-Stipendiaten werden in jede Phase der Implantattherapie eingebunden, von der Diagnose \u00fcber die Behandlungsplanung bis hin zur Nachsorge. Es werden Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Prothetik, Chirurgie und Parodontologie vermittelt.\n\nDie PKU-SS zeichnet sich durch ein sehr hohes Niveau in der wissenschaftlichen Forschung aus. Es verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber ein nationales Ingenieurslabor f\u00fcr digitale Oralwissenschaft und -technologie, ein nationales klinisches Forschungszentrum f\u00fcr Munderkrankungen, ein vom chinesischen Ministerium f\u00fcr Wissenschaft und Technologie gestiftetes internationales gemeinsames Forschungszentrum sowie zwei Schl\u00fcssel-Labore auf Provinz- und Ministerialebene usw. Au\u00dferdem umfasst es ein Zentrallabor und acht weitere technische Labore. Basic understanding of Mandarin will facilitate the communication with patients."},{"acf_fc_layout":"description","title":"Additional information on the clinical activities","description":"In the PKU-SS Faculty Practice, ITI Scholars are involved in patient care, including treatment planning, surgical placement, and restoration of dental implants. Additionally, clinical teaching of pre-doctoral students for at least one day per month is part of the program. ITI Scholars also have access to lectures and interdisciplinary seminars offered in advanced graduate specialty programs. Involvement in research or other scholarly activities is recommended and available. \r\n\r\nSince our center is based on the multi-departmental collaboration among Prosthodontology, Periodontology, Oral Implantology and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, the selected scholar will spend the one year with exposure of all the above mentioned departments depending on his\/her education background and interest in future career development. Applicants are recommended to have a cumulative score of: >90 on the Internet-Based TOEFL (iBT) or >6 overall band score on the IELTS. \r\n\r\nScholars must be able to communicate with patients. Basic understanding of Mandarin is desired. If they do not speak Chinese or the patient does not speak English, they will not be able to treat patients.
