Die Universit\u00e4t verzeichnet j\u00e4hrlich \u00fcber 86.000 Studierende und z\u00e4hlt durchweg zu den besten Universit\u00e4ten Spaniens.\r\nDie Abteilung f\u00fcr Parodontologie bietet Aufbaustudieng\u00e4nge und aktive Forschung auf diesem Gebiet an. Der Aufbaustudiengang konzentriert sich auf die Spezialisierung in Parodontologie, einen dreij\u00e4hrigen Vollzeitstudiengang, der von der Europ\u00e4ischen F\u00f6deration f\u00fcr Parodontologie akkreditiert ist und Fach\u00e4rzte f\u00fcr Parodontologie und Implantattherapie ausbildet. Die Forschungsarbeit wird von der Forschungsgruppe ETEP (\u00c4tiologie und Therapie parodontaler Erkrankungen) geleitet, die sechs Grundlagenforschungslabore betreibt und mehr als 12 Postdoktoranden sowie \u00fcber 10 Doktoranden umfasst. Zu den wichtigsten Forschungsbereichen z\u00e4hlen Geweberegeneration, Biofilmbildung sowie klinische Studien im Zusammenhang mit parodontalen und implantatchirurgischen Eingriffen.\r\nDie Universit\u00e4t von Santiago de Compostela (Universidad de Santiago de Compostela) ist eine \u00f6ffentliche Universit\u00e4t mit einer \u00fcber f\u00fcnf Jahrhunderte langen Geschichte. Sie ist eine historische Einrichtung, die in die Zukunft blickt und \u00fcber ihre Grenzen hinauswirkt, stets aufmerksam auf die vielf\u00e4ltigen Bed\u00fcrfnisse der Gesellschaft eingehend. Sie gilt als wichtige akademische Referenz und baut ihre Lehr- und Forschungsarbeit kontinuierlich weiter aus. Ihre lange Geschichte verleiht der Universit\u00e4t die einzigartige F\u00e4higkeit, Erfahrung, Stabilit\u00e4t und Zuversicht mit aktuellen und zuk\u00fcnftigen Herausforderungen zu verbinden.\r\nDie Abteilung f\u00fcr Parodontologie betreut Postgraduierte im Bereich der Parodontologie und betreibt aktive Forschung. Es gibt zwei M\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr die postgraduale Ausbildung. Der Masterstudiengang Parodontologie ist ein dreij\u00e4hriges Vollzeitprogramm, das darauf ausgerichtet ist, Fach\u00e4rzte f\u00fcr Parodontologie und Implantattherapie auszubilden. Dar\u00fcber hinaus bieten wir ein Weiterbildungsprogramm im Bereich der parodontologisch-implantologischen Zahnmedizin an, das aus sieben Modulen (jeweils 12 Stunden) besteht, die das ganze Jahr \u00fcber freitags und samstags stattfinden.
