Die Mehrheit der in der Klinik behandelten Patienten ist teilbezahnt und erh\u00e4lt eine umfassende Versorgung in allen Fachbereichen der Zahnmedizin, die sowohl von Fakult\u00e4tsmitgliedern als auch von Doktoranden durchgef\u00fchrt wird.\nIn den meisten F\u00e4llen, die in dieser Fachklinik behandelt werden, wird die Implantatinsertion mit Augmentationsverfahren kombiniert, wobei Techniken der gesteuerten Knochenregeneration (GBR) sowie Weichgewebeaugmentationsverfahren zum Einsatz kommen. Der Einsatz sowohl autologer als auch substituierender Biomaterialien gew\u00e4hrleistet optimale Ergebnisse bei Hart- und Weichgewebe. Die Klinik legt gro\u00dfen Wert auf eine sorgf\u00e4ltige Behandlungsplanung und pr\u00e4zise klinische Durchf\u00fchrung, um Ergebnisse zu erzielen, die sowohl biologisch fundiert als auch \u00e4sthetisch optimal sind.\r\nDas klinische und wissenschaftliche Portfolio konzentriert sich auf die rekonstruktive und prothetische Zahnmedizin, die orale Implantologie und regenerative Therapien sowie auf fortschrittliche digitale Zahnmedizin, einschlie\u00dflich navigierter und robotergest\u00fctzter Verfahren, sowie auf zahnmedizinische E-Health-Anwendungen und Diagnostik. Die Forschungsaktivit\u00e4ten umfassen die Knochen- und Weichgeweberegeneration, Implantatintegration und Belastungsprotokolle sowie konventionelle und vollkeramische Rekonstruktionen und minimalinvasive Behandlungskonzepte, eingebettet in umfassende digitale Arbeitsabl\u00e4ufe. Ein besonderes Kennzeichen der Forschung der Klinik ist ihr starkes Engagement f\u00fcr patientenzentrierte Ergebnisse und gemeinsame Entscheidungsfindung, was einen translationalen Ansatz widerspiegelt, der technologische Innovation mit individueller Patientenversorgung verbindet (Prof. Dr. Ronald Jung, PhD; Prof. Dr. Daniel Thoma; Prof. Dr. Tim Joda; PD Dr. Nadja N\u00e4nni; Dr. Marc Balmer; Dr. Elena M\u00fchlemann; Dr. Pune Paqu\u00e9; Dr. Roman Schellenberg; Dr. Kevser Pala).\r\nDie Klinik f\u00fcr Rekonstruktive Zahnmedizin der Universit\u00e4t Z\u00fcrich bietet sowohl ein Bachelor-Studium als auch ein strukturiertes dreij\u00e4hriges Vollzeit-Aufbaustudium sowie einen Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Oralimplantologie an. Der klinische Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Behandlung komplexer und \u00e4sthetisch anspruchsvoller F\u00e4lle unter Einbeziehung aller Aspekte der rekonstruktiven, regenerativen und implantologischen Zahnmedizin. Dar\u00fcber hinaus steht das interdisziplin\u00e4re Team f\u00fcr Periimplantitis (IPS) am Zentrum f\u00fcr Zahnmedizin, das sich auf die Diagnose und Behandlung von periimplant\u00e4ren Erkrankungen konzentriert, unter der Leitung der Klinik f\u00fcr Rekonstruktive Zahnmedizin.\r\nDie Stipendiaten haben Zugang zu allen klinischen Aktivit\u00e4ten. All clinical, laboratory, educational, and research activities are open for observation. In addition, scholars are actively involved in the daily operations of the clinic, gaining comprehensive clinical experience.\r\nITI Scholars at our clinic are able to learn about every phase of therapy using dental implants, including treatment planning, execution of preparatory, surgical and prosthetic steps as well as follow-up therapy. They take part in weekly treatment planning sessions, literature discussions and seminars. There is also a monthly journal club meeting that includes all the journals that are relevant in the field of implant and reconstructive dentistry. ITI Scholars can observe and assist in surgical and restorative procedures on a daily basis, experiencing each step of a comprehensive therapy from the initial examination to the surgical phase until the final reconstruction. ITI Scholars cannot treat patients independently. \r\nITI Scholars are further involved in the clinic\u2019s continuing education courses on surgical and prosthetic topics related to implant dentistry. Since there is a long history of conducting preclinical and clinical research, the scholar is able to deeply immerge into all types of research activities performed at the Clinic.   \r\nThus, the scholar will be involved in all aspects of education, research and patient treatment that are ongoing at our clinic.
