J\u00e4hrlich werden in den Einrichtungen der Abteilung mehr als 30.000 Patienten behandelt. In den drei der Abteilung zugeordneten Operationss\u00e4len werden j\u00e4hrlich etwa 2.000 Eingriffe durchgef\u00fchrt \u2013 davon sind etwa 700 Implantatoperationen sowie augmentative und rekonstruktive Eingriffe. Endodontische Chirurgie und Zahntransplantationen sind weitere Schwerpunkte. Die Abteilung f\u00fcr Zahnmedizin und Mundgesundheit ist in eine gro\u00dfe, moderne Klinik eingebettet, die ein ideales Umfeld f\u00fcr hochkar\u00e4tige zahnmedizinische Versorgung und Forschung bietet.\r\n\r\nEin wichtiger Schwerpunkt unserer zahnmedizinischen Ausbildung ist die Vermittlung fundierter theoretischer Kenntnisse, um eine umfassende klinische Ausbildung zu erm\u00f6glichen, durch die unsere Studierenden gute praktische F\u00e4higkeiten entwickeln k\u00f6nnen. Scholars will be able to participate in all aspects of implant-based care. Scholars will work in a team environment under the direction and constant supervision of the Scholarship Center faculty and may be involved in conducting research. \r\n\r\nAs treatment planning and the ensuing dental rehabilitation of patients is in most cases an interdisciplinary undertaking together with other divisions as well as external dentists or by the division alone, ITI Scholars will get valuable insight into different types of collaboration. \r\n\r\nScholars will be fully integrated guests of our division and be involved in post-graduate courses consisting of theory sessions and hands-on cadaver courses held and organized several times a year. \r\nIn order to extend their scientific activities, we encourage ITI Scholars to get involved in new or active scientific projects in our division.
