Dieses Zentrum bietet Stipendiaten die M\u00f6glichkeit, ihr Wissen \u00fcber das gesamte Spektrum der oralen Rehabilitation zu erweitern: von digitalen Arbeitsabl\u00e4ufen und CAD\/CAM-Technologien bis hin zur Behandlung von Patienten mit teilweisem oder vollst\u00e4ndigem Zahnverlust, wobei sowohl festsitzende als auch herausnehmbare Versorgungen mit und ohne Implantatunterst\u00fctzung behandelt werden. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der evidenzbasierten Behandlungsplanung, der Prothetikmaterialwissenschaft sowie den individuellen funktionellen und \u00e4sthetischen Anforderungen des Patienten. Die Abteilung f\u00fcr Rekonstruktive Zahnmedizin und Gerodontologie verf\u00fcgt dar\u00fcber hinaus \u00fcber gro\u00dfe Kompetenz bei der Behandlung von maxillofazialen Traumata und Tumorf\u00e4llen \u2013 gemeinsam mit dem Universit\u00e4tsklinikum (chirurgischer Bereich) wird das gesamte Spektrum an Patienten versorgt, einschlie\u00dflich Jochbeinimplantaten und ma\u00dfgeschneiderten Implantaten. Ein wichtiger Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Behandlung orofazialer Schmerzen, und mit dem Labor f\u00fcr digitale Zahntechnik besteht ein starker Forschungsschwerpunkt auf pr\u00e4klinischen digitalen Studien, einschlie\u00dflich des Druckens von Zirkonoxid. Das Programm ist durchdacht strukturiert und kann an die W\u00fcnsche des Stipendiaten angepasst werden \u2013 entweder eher forschungsorientiert (pr\u00e4klinisch) oder klinisch ausgerichtet. Stipendiaten haben die M\u00f6glichkeit, sich direkt an der Behandlungsplanung zu beteiligen, sowohl bei einfachen als auch bei komplexen Behandlungen zu assistieren und in innovative Forschung einzutauchen, mit der Aussicht auf Ver\u00f6ffentlichungen in f\u00fchrenden Fachzeitschriften. Bei einer forschungsorientierten Ausrichtung besteht die M\u00f6glichkeit, den akademischen Grad \u201eDr. med. dent.\u201c (Univ. Bern) zu erwerben. \n\nObwohl ITI-Stipendiaten nicht selbst direkt an der Patientenbehandlung beteiligt sind, spielen sie eine wesentliche Rolle bei der Unterst\u00fctzung erfahrener Kliniker und Assistenz\u00e4rzte und gewinnen zudem unsch\u00e4tzbare Einblicke in die klinische Praxis.  \r\n\r\nDie Stipendiaten erhalten Zugang zu Bildungsangeboten von Weltklasse. Zu den herausragenden Angeboten z\u00e4hlen die ITI Education Week und weitere Fortbildungskurse (CE). Dies ist eine spannende Gelegenheit, mit f\u00fchrenden Chirurgen zusammenzuarbeiten, an Forschungsprojekten teilzunehmen und Ihre F\u00e4higkeiten in einem dynamischen, unterst\u00fctzenden Umfeld zu verfeinern. ","available":false}]},{"acf_fc_layout":"description","title":"Additional information on the research activities  ","description":"The Laboratory for Dental Digital Technologies, jointly operated with the Department of Preventive, Restorative and Pediatric Dentistry, offers scholars a state-of-the-art pre-clinical research environment. Research activities center on five main areas: (1) evaluation of digital technologies for diagnosis and treatment planning, including intraoral scanning\/industrial grade scanning and AI-assisted workflows; (2) accuracy testing of CAD-CAM systems including milling machines and dental 3D printers \u2014 the lab operates a broad fleet of vat photopolymerization printers (SLA, DLP and LCD) enabling comparative studies on resin and zirconia printing; (3) the physical, optical, and mechanical testing of CAD-CAM prostheses, from minimally invasive small-size restorations to complete-arch tooth-\/implant-supported frameworks, manufactured through digital technologies; (4) investigation of emerging digital dental technologies and their clinical applicability, including digital denture design, implant-retained prostheses, and personalized titanium frameworks developed in collaboration with the Swiss m4m Center; (5) and the use of digital tools to enhance dental education. Scholars integrated into this laboratory will contribute to ongoing in vitro and pre-clinical studies, participate in study design, data acquisition and statistical analysis, and will be encouraged to submit findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Close collaboration with the clinical teams ensures that bench research is continuously translated into patient-relevant outcomes. ITI Scholars are invited to get involved with a research project resulting in a publication. \r\n\r\nImportant: for acquiring the visa documents, paperwork must be submitted at least 3 months prior to the start of the scholarship.
