"},{"acf_fc_layout":"description","title":"Additional information on the clinical activities","description":"ITI Scholars will have the opportunity to participate in all phases of surgical and restorative care, from the initial consultation and treatment planning through post-restoration maintenance and care. ITI Scholars will also be expected to become actively involved in all areas of care and research related to the field of implant dentistry and bone regeneration. ITI Scholars will be expected to participate in clinical and\/or laboratory-based research project(s) during their time at the Scholarship Center. The University of Michigan has particular expertise in the areas of regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and implant dentistry.\r\nThe ITI Scholar will participate in implant-related multi-disciplinary seminars with faculty of the School of Dentistry and work closely together with the graduate students, post-graduate students, and fellows in periodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
