In zahlreichen Umfragen wird sie als beste Universit\u00e4t Thailands eingestuft. Die Universit\u00e4t umfasst derzeit 20 Fakult\u00e4ten sowie 23 Colleges und Forschungsinstitute, mehr als 8.000 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter und \u00fcber 37.000 Studierende.\r\nDie Abteilung f\u00fcr Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie (OMFS) blickt auf eine lange Tradition sowohl in der klinischen Lehre als auch in der Forschung zur\u00fcck. Sie deckt alle klinischen Bereiche der Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie auf Bachelor- und Masterebene ab und verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber zahlreiche Studieng\u00e4nge sowie mehr als 30 Assistenz\u00e4rzte. Die computergest\u00fctzte Implantatchirurgie (CAIS) ist einer der st\u00e4rksten Forschungsbereiche der Abteilung und kann auf Errungenschaften von Weltklasse zur\u00fcckblicken. Das Kompetenzzentrum f\u00fcr CAIS hat in den letzten f\u00fcnf Jahren Hunderte von Patienten mit statischen und dynamischen Navigationstechnologien behandelt und dabei mehr als ein Dutzend vielzitierte Studien in internationalen Fachzeitschriften mit Peer-Review ver\u00f6ffentlicht.\r\nDie Abteilung f\u00fcr Parodontologie richtete 1974 den ersten Aufbaustudiengang f\u00fcr Parodontologie in Thailand ein, dessen Ziel es war, auf Parodontologie spezialisierte Zahn\u00e4rzte auszubilden. Angesichts der weltweiten Entwicklungen, die durch die moderne Forschung auf dem Gebiet der parodontalen Regeneration und der Zahnimplantologie vorangetrieben wurden, hat die Abteilung ihren Lehrplan kontinuierlich verbessert und weiterentwickelt, um den Anforderungen der Gesellschaft an die Hochschulbildung gerecht zu werden. Ziel war es, nicht nur auf Parodontologie spezialisierte Zahn\u00e4rzte auszubilden, sondern auch solche, die zu lebenslangem Lernen und zur Erforschung neuer Erkenntnisse f\u00e4hig sind. Das Kompetenzzentrum f\u00fcr Parodontalerkrankungen und Zahnimplantate hat vielversprechende Forschungsergebnisse vorzuweisen und ver\u00f6ffentlicht regelm\u00e4\u00dfig in renommierten internationalen Fachzeitschriften.\r\nITI-Stipendiaten haben die M\u00f6glichkeit, in beiden Abteilungen mitzuarbeiten und unter der Aufsicht des Personals den gesamten Behandlungsablauf zu begleiten.
