Die USP z\u00e4hlt mehr als 58.000 Studierende, die auf 42 Lehr- und Forschungseinrichtungen verteilt sind, darunter Fakult\u00e4ten und Institute f\u00fcr technologische Entwicklung. Die Universit\u00e4t verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber einen zentralen Campus, in dessen N\u00e4he sich Forschungseinrichtungen f\u00fcr Grundlagenwissenschaften befinden. Die Fakult\u00e4t f\u00fcr Zahnmedizin hat international sehr gute Platzierungen erzielt und z\u00e4hlt zu den traditionsreichsten des Landes; sie gilt als Referenz in Lehre und Forschung. Die Fakult\u00e4t besteht derzeit aus sieben Abteilungen mit 155 Lehrkr\u00e4ften, 740 Studierenden im Grundstudium und 325 Studierenden im Aufbaustudium (aus verschiedenen L\u00e4ndern und aus allen Regionen Brasiliens).\n\nDas ITI-Stipendienzentrum an der Fakult\u00e4t f\u00fcr Zahnmedizin der Universit\u00e4t von S\u00e3o Paulo ist in der Abteilung f\u00fcr Prothetik angesiedelt. Es besteht eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Abteilungen, die im Bereich der Implantologie t\u00e4tig sind, darunter die Abteilung f\u00fcr Parodontologie, die Abteilung f\u00fcr Radiologie, die Abteilung f\u00fcr Biomaterialien und die Abteilung f\u00fcr Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie, bei der Ausbildung von Bachelor- und Masterstudierenden an unserer Fakult\u00e4t; ITI-Stipendiaten werden Teil dieser interdisziplin\u00e4ren Philosophie f\u00fcr eine umfassende Patientenversorgung sein.\r\n\r\nDie ITI-Stipendiaten k\u00f6nnen alle klinischen Aktivit\u00e4ten der Abteilung nutzen, darunter Fortbildungskurse zu den Themen Implantologie, Prothetik, Parodontologie und \u00e4sthetische Zahnmedizin. Die Abteilung f\u00fcr Prothetik betreibt zudem eine Klinik f\u00fcr Postgraduierte. Dieser Bereich verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber renovierte und ansprechende klinische Einrichtungen sowie entsprechend ausgestattete Laborr\u00e4ume. Die ITI-Stipendiaten werden bei dieser klinischen T\u00e4tigkeit vollst\u00e4ndig in den Kreis der Postgraduierten integriert. Treating patients alone if the Scholar has sufficient skills to do so. The Scholarship Center Faculty will determine the extent of patient treatment based on the progression of skills demonstrated by the scholar during their first 6 month in the Center. Patient treatment is only permitted inside the Dental School. In the Postgraduate Clinic, ITI Scholars will be involved in comprehensive patient care including treatment planning, surgical placement and restoration of dental implants based on scientific evidence and supported by digital technologies (intra-oral scanner, CAD-CAM, 3D virtual planning, DSD, implant-guided surgery). Patients can receive the full spectrum of treatment within the dental school, inclusive of all specialties. A multidisciplinary approach with the patient as the focus of attention seeking to solve their esthetic and functional problems using digital technologies and conventional techniques is one of the characteristics of the program. Partially or totally edentulous patients requiring dental implants, with indications classified as simple, advanced or complex, from a surgical or restorative point of view, are treated following the ITI philosophy. \r\nThe goal of the program is to assist Scholars to develop a critical and multidisciplinary view of implant dentistry and to increase their skills and knowledge in harmony with the ITI philosophy.
