Sie gilt als Chinas erste Fachklinik f\u00fcr Zahnmedizin und ist ein Nationales Zentrum f\u00fcr Zahnmedizin, das f\u00fcr das h\u00f6chste Niveau der zahnmedizinischen Versorgung und Forschung im Land steht. Im QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 belegte die Einrichtung weltweit den 10. Platz und auf dem chinesischen Festland den 1. Platz im Fachbereich Zahnmedizin. Zudem belegte sie im \"Softke Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU)\" 2023 im Fachbereich Zahnmedizin weltweit den 4. Platz und sicherte sich damit ebenfalls die Spitzenposition in China. Die Fakult\u00e4t hat bei den Fachbereichsbewertungen des Bildungsministeriums durchweg die Note \"A+\" erhalten und wurde zweimal als \u201eDouble First-Class\u201c-Aufbaufachbereich ausgew\u00e4hlt.\n\nDie Abteilung f\u00fcr orale Implantologie am West China Hospital of Stomatology ist die erste in China gegr\u00fcndete klinische, wissenschaftliche und lehrende Einrichtung f\u00fcr Zahnimplantate. Sie ist derzeit eines der drei landesweit anerkannten nationalen Schl\u00fcsselzentren f\u00fcr klinische Fachgebiete im Bereich der Implantologie. Die Abteilung verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber ein starkes Fachteam und wendet fortschrittliche medizinische Behandlungsmethoden an. Sie leitet mehrere nationale und ministerielle Gesundheitsprojekte und erh\u00e4lt zudem wissenschaftliche und technologische F\u00f6rdermittel auf Provinz- und Stadtebene.\r\n\r\nITI-Stipendiaten nehmen unter Aufsicht des Personals am gesamten Behandlungsablauf teil. Die Stipendiaten haben die M\u00f6glichkeit, an interdisziplin\u00e4ren Behandlungssitzungen teilzunehmen, und sind herzlich eingeladen, an Seminaren oder Journal Clubs mit Doktoranden teilzunehmen.
