ITI Congress Middle East: The defining trends

Last week, the fourth Middle East ITI Congress took place – this time in Dubai, the city of superlatives. With 500 attendees, amongst whom almost 50% were from the U.A.E., the event was the largest congress in the Middle East and provided its participants with a high-quality program and a wide range of stimulating lectures and discussions under the umbrella theme “The defining trends”.

The internationally renowned speakers Daniel Buser, Stephen Chen, German Gallucci and Matthias Müller provided insights into topics such as treatment planning and digital workflow, esthetics, surgical and prosthetic rehabilitation in implant dentistry. With 39 speakers, most of them from the Middle East section, particularly from Lebanon, U.A.E., Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, the fourth ITI Congress Middle East offered the most diversified program and the biggest faculty so far. Another big plus is the number of female speakers, which was the highest compared to the three last ITI congresses held by the Middle East Section. For the first time, the ITI Middle East Congress provided a Young Podium Session dedicated to the younger generation interested in implant dentistry to support young professionals in their future journey, as part of the ITI Section Middle East.

The congress was highly appreciated by its attendees who came to Dubai from 20 different countries representing Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and North America, to be part of this great event. The participants appreciated the smooth operation and the good organization of the event, as well as the choice of topics discussed and the contributions of the distinguished international speakers and Section speakers.
