ITI Congress Benelux: Surgical and Prosthetic Interactions in Implant Dentistry: Plan – Act - Evaluate

Last weekend, the ITI Congress Benelux took place in Rotterdam, Netherlands and provided its over 400 participants with a high-quality program and a wide range of stimulating lectures and discussions under the umbrella theme “Surgical and Prosthetic Interactions in Implant Dentistry: Plan – Act – Evaluate”.

The aim of the organizing team was to create a scientific program that covered the interest areas of both implant surgeons and restorative dentists. The variety of topics was accordingly wider than usual: from gerontology and health technology assessment through immediate implant placement to complex surgical cases: the program delivered what it promised. As also did the workshops. A prominent place in the main program was reserved for young colleagues where they could present their research: the future in implantology

For Marco Cune, Chair of the ITI Section Benelux and a member of the Scientific Program Committee, the highlights were the interaction between the participants and lecturers as well as the lively discussions. He says that, above all, the young academic sessions on Saturday morning, but also the great variety of topics were greatly appreciated by the attendees.
