40 Years ITI – the birthday year comes to a close

Matthias Joesch
40 years of ITI comes to an end

What a crazy ride this year has been so far. Mostly dominated by the worldwide pandemic, of course. But not everything was bad in 2020 and one of the highlights was our 40th birthday and the accompanying celebrations from May onwards.

We had a blast taking you all on a journey through 40 years of ITI history and it made us happy to see how many of you watched our videos, participated in our quizzes and competitions, and supported us in spreading the word about the ITI via social media to the whole world of implant dentistry.

One of the most exciting parts of this project was the video competition that took place in October. We received some fantastic video contributions from all over the world. Congratulations to Myra Ahmed from Pakistan who won the competition and was awarded a 10-year ITI membershipWatch her video in full.

Congratulations also go out to Anton Kalinin from Russia, whose great video garnered an honorable mention from the jury. Many thanks to everyone for taking part and sharing their videos. You can access all the video submissions on our birthday microsite until the end of the year: https://www.40yearsiti.org/

We would like to thank all of you for your support in 2020. We wouldn’t be here without you and are looking forward to the next 40 years with our ITI community.
