Three new ITI Scholarship Centers have been announced at the University of Basel (UZB) in Switzerland, University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, and ACTA (Academisch Centrum Tandheelkunde Amsterdam) in the Netherlands. This brings the ITI Scholarship Center community up to 29 leading institutions worldwide that offer young professionals the chance to spend a year being mentored by an ITI Fellow. The ITI Scholarship has long been acknowledged as a valuable opportunity to gather international experience of many different aspects of implant dentistry at the same time as forging enduring connections.
The ITI has been running its Scholarship scheme since 1998 and many former Scholars now hold leadership positions both within and beyond the organization. Currently up to 25 Scholarships are awarded each year.
