ITI Congress France: Science, sport and more!

The French Section pulled out all the stops for its national congress in Antibes from May 30 to June 1. In addition to a broad scientific program that focused on complications and how to prevent and deal with them, the congress also offered a parallel session for dental technicians as well as a range of hands-on and sporting activities to suit everyone’s taste and needs. The Section took the unusual step for a dental congress of kicking off with a lecture from world-famous architect Jean Nouvel, who managed to fascinate his audience with no problem at all!

With an excellent national and international faculty, the Section offered participants lectures highlighting the biological aspects associated with implant placement including torque insertion as well as lectures that provided keys to improving procedures when facing different types of challenges. Lecturers offered practical take home messages for immediate application.

“Our participants responded with appreciation and very positive feedback for the plenary sessions, hands-on workshops or the quickfire young session. We also enjoyed a wonderful party with a great atmosphere,” said Mathieu Fillion and Guillaume Heller, Joint Heads of the Scientific Program Committee.
