ITI Research Competition: Call for Abstracts

Please consider taking an active role in the ITI World Symposium by submitting an abstract for the ITI Research Competition. Should your abstract be selected you will present your work on Friday afternoon in the oral ITI Research Competition. Each of the eight presentations has 10 minutes with an additional 2 minutes for questions. Abstracts that have not been selected for the oral presentation will be enrolled for a poster presentation unless otherwise specified on the Call for Abstracts form.

PRIZES FOR ITI RESEARCH COMPETITION

A prize of CHF 1,000 will be awarded for the best oral presentation and all eight oral presenters will have free admission to the ITI World Symposium. The best poster presentation in each of several categories (to be determined upon receipt of submissions by the Scientific Program Committee) will receive CHF 500.

October 31, 2013 Deadline for abstracts
December 31, 2013 Notification sent by email if your abstract has been selected for presentation.

 

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT

All abstracts must be submitted using the Call for Abstracts form. Only abstracts that are submitted electronically using this form will be considered. Incomplete abstract forms will not be reviewed. The Call for Abstracts form is available for download. Send the completed abstract form as an attachment to events@iti.org.

CONDITIONS FOR SUBMISSION
The ITI Research Competition is open to all clinicians and investigators – there is no age limit. You may present information on research findings, program implementation and results, or innovative solutions. Indicate any commercial support at the end of your abstract, if applicable.

CRITERIA OF EVALUATION
Abstracts are evaluated based on substance and clarity of content, relevance, specificity and practicality and clarity of writing and presentation. The Scientific Program Committee will review all proposals that comply with the guidelines.
