Entering Switzerland

Foreign nationals who wish to enter Switzerland must present a valid travel document recognized by the Swiss authorities. A visa is also required for nationals of certain countries. On December 12, 2008, the Schengen association agreement went into effect and since then Schengen visas are accepted for entry into Switzerland.

Detailed information is available from the Federal Office for Migration (FOM), Swiss consulates and embassies abroad and cantonal authorities.

Invitation letters to support your visa application will be issued by Interplan – the ITI's registration office. Invitation letters will only be issued once full payment has been received.
