Fellowship

The ITI is a unique academic organization and a scientific network of dedicated professionals in implant dentistry worldwide. It has been growing considerably over the last years; to accommodate the needs of the growing organization, the ITI hast decided at the Annual General Meeting in August 2003 to create two membership categories, Fellows and Members.

Fellowship qualification and nomination process
ITI Fellows are professionals in implant dentistry who assume official ITI functions on the ITI Board, Committees or Sections, and/or show a high level of activity in research or education. Maintenance of fellowship requires documentation of ongoing excellence in one or more of these areas. It is only possible to become an ITI Fellow by nomination. One nominator and two supporters, all of whom have been ITI Fellows for at least four years, must provide the ITI Board of  Directors with a letter of nomination accompanied by a CV and two letters of support, respectively. These letters of recommendation should be addressed to the ITI Board of Directors and sent to the ITI Center.

Nominators and supporters should address their recommendation to the attention of the ITI Board of Directors (addressed to the ITI Center). The Board decides at least once a year regarding fellowship applications. The decision of the Board is final.

Membership dues for Fellows
The annual membership fee for ITI Fellows is CHF 390 (Swiss Francs). The ITI Board will review and elect the applicants. Upon election, applicants will be notified and admitted to fellowship upon payment of dues for the year of election.
