Through several decades of research and clinical application dental implants represent a reliable, functional and highly successful treatment option for partial or complete edentulism. The evolution of biomaterials, recent scientific data and contemporary clinical needs expand the fields of possible applications, modify the therapeutic modalities and improve the final result provided that biological mechanisms are being respected.

The main theme of the Congress is “New developments vs. established concepts in implant dentistry”.

All our invited speakers (U. Belser, C. Hammerle, R. Jung, N. Donos, J.Schmid, B. Pjetursson) are very well known and highly experienced clinicians and researchers and their presentations will contribute to the evidence based analysis of modern clinical practices and alternative treatment modalities.
