About the Scholarship Center
The ITI Scholarship program is carried out at the Department of Oral Implantology and Prosthetic Dentistry of the ACTA. This university institute has been involved in implant dentistry since 1986. The department places special emphasis on 3D planning for implant surgery as well as on prosthetic planning and the manufacture of restorations.
The oral implantology section has a 3-year postgraduate program in Oral Implantology which trains dentists in all the surgical and prosthetic aspects of this field. Very complex bone augmentation cases are treated together with the oral and maxillofacial surgery department.
The Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam is a joint faculty of the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the Free University (VU).
