A portion of the annual ITI research funds is allocated to applications on specific areas of interest defined by the ITI Research Committee.
The following priority areas will be the focus of the Research Committee's deliberations for the triennium 2014 - 2017:
1. Effect of surface material and surface structure for improved soft-tissue attachment.
2. Minimally invasive implant therapy. How much osseointegration do we need? How short and narrow can implants be?
3. Use and validation of digital data in planning, manufacture and treatment.
Research grant applications for other implant-dentistry-based research will of course still be welcomed.
For in-depth information on how to complete and submit your application, please refer to the 2017 ITI Research Grant Application Guidelines.
