The ITI Congress Turkey & Azerbaijan has just come to an end. With more than 600 participants and 20 exhibiting companies, the two and a half-day congress held at the Gloria Golf Resort Otel Belek in Antalya from December 2 to 4 was by far the largest congress organized by the ITI Section Turkey & Azerbaijan. The strong faculty made up of Paolo Casentini, Konrad Meyenberg, Julia Wittneben Matter, Leonardo Trombelli, and the cream of national speakers shared their knowledge on “Regeneration and Reconstruction: Clinical applicability” and made the congress a scientifically superior event.
Apart from the high quality of the congress program, participants were particularly enthusiastic about the roundtables organized during one of the lunch breaks, which offered a great opportunity to discuss questions with renowned ITI Fellows. “Considering the positive feedback we got, it is safe to say that that our Congress was a big success”, said Hakan Bilhan, Chair of the Scientific Program Committee. Among the aims of the Scientific Program Committee was to promote the activities as well as the philosophy of the ITI. “I am happy that we succeeded in attracting a considerable number of non-ITI members to the congress, so we had the chance to convince them of the high quality of the ITI’s educational offerings”, said Ali Murat Kökat, member of the Scientific Program Committee and Communications Officer of the ITI Section Turkey & Azerbaijan.
The diverse scientific program was complemented by a digital poster competition, Case Cloud presentations, short research lectures and hands-on workshops in the morning. The industry exhibition provided an overview of the latest products in the field.
