The ITI Congress Norway & Sweden has just come to an end. With 210 participants and 13 exhibitors, the two-day congress held at the beautiful Malmö Börshus from April 15 to 16 was an intimate and scientifically superior event. The strong faculty made up of national and international top speakers, among them Ryo Jimbo, Tor Løwer-Nilsen, Cecilie Gjerde, Simon Storgård Jensen, Luca Cordaro and Charlotte Stilwell, shared their knowledge on “Esthetics in Implantology”. The congress was highly informative and rewarding for the participants - especially those who had travelled up to 2000 kilometers to attend the congress.
Participants were particularly enthusiastic about the high academic quality of the lectures, the varied program, the topic of the congress in general as well as the professional organization of the event. “Considering the positive feedback we got, it is safe to say that that our Congress was a big success”, said Heming Olsen-Bergem, Chair of the Scientific Program Committee. Among the aims of the Scientific Program Committee was to promote the activities as well as the philosophy of the ITI and to attract new members. “With fewer than 250 members, we are currently a rather small Section”, said Heming Olsen-Bergem. “I am happy that we succeeded in attracting a considerable number of non-ITI members to the congress, so we had the chance to convince them of the high quality of the ITI’s educational offerings.”
The diverse scientific program was complemented by a short presentation of the ITI Online Academy as well as an industry exhibition, which provided an overview of the latest products in the field.
