ITI Congress Mexico welcomes 470 implant dentistry professionals

Renowned speakers, top-class lectures and stimulating discussions – all this made up the ITI Congress Mexico held at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City. During the two-day congress, which ran under the title “Implantología de excelencia basada en la evidencia”, the 470 participants had plenty of opportunity to talk to colleagues, ask questions and benefit from a well-balanced program.

The main topics of the congress were guided bone regeneration and alveolar ridge reconstruction, the esthetic zone approach, timing for implant placement and prosthetic options in edentulous patients. They were covered by a strong faculty made up of international speakers such as ITI President David Cochran and Waldemar Daudt Polido as well as the cream of Mexican speakers. “Participants were extremely satisfied with the high academic quality of the lectures, the variety of different topics as well as the truly amazing organization of the event in general”, said Alejandro Treviño, Chair of the Scientific Program Committee. “Apart from providing a scientifically attractive program, our aim was to spread the philosophy of the ITI and promote the scientific activities of our Section. I am more than happy that we succeeded in this.”

The diverse scientific program was complemented by the official announcement of the ITI Scholarship Center at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the presentation of the ITI Online Academy as well as an industry exhibition, which provided an overview of the latest products in the field.
