This year's ITI Congress Greece & Cyprus has just come to an end. The two-day congress held on October 9 and 10 at the DAIS Cultural and Conference Center in Athens was a big success: The 200 participants were enthusiastic about the varied scientific program that focused on knowledge, precision and success in implant dentistry and was presented by distinguished ITI Fellows – among them ITI President-elect Stephen Chen.
The main goal of the congress was to provide a critical analysis and evaluation of existing clinical approaches and suggest possible alternatives that could be applied in daily practice. "The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive", said George Vilos, Chair of the Scientific Program Committee. "Not only were they more than satisfied with the evidence-based nature and clinical value of the presentations and the lecturers' level of expertise, but they also complimented the organizing team on their choice of venue and the impeccable planning of the entire event," added Nikitas Sykaras, member of the Scientific Program Committee. The event was rounded off with the Annual Section Meeting of the ITI Section Greece followed by the Denco Dental Party that provided participants with ample opportunity to discuss the presentations of the previous days in more depth and catch up with fellow practitioners and friends.
