The ITI Congress Germany has just come to an end. With 1,200 participants, the two-day congress held at the Maritim Hotel & International Congress Center Dresden from April 17 to 18 was an outstanding success. The scientific program focused on modern, practical, evidence-based treatment concepts complemented by digital dentistry as the leitmotif. The material was presented by a strong faculty made up of national and international top speakers, among them ITI President David Cochran, ITI past President Daniel Buser, Georg Bach and the newly elected Chair of the German ITI Section Johannes Kleinheinz.
Participants were extremely satisfied with the high academic quality and topicality of the lectures, the variety of topics and presentation formats (lectures, debates, video animations, etc.) as well as the organization of the event in general. “Considering that our aim to focus exclusively on treatment concepts that are at the same time evidence-based and practical was extremely challenging, we are particularly proud of all the positive feedback we got”, commented Georg Bach. Moreover, Johannes Kleinheinz emphasized that the atmosphere was exceptionally good and relaxed not only in the lecture halls, but even more so in the hallways, the exhibition area and during the evening event. “Apart from providing a well-balanced, scientifically appealing program, we wanted to give our congress participants plenty of opportunity to talk to colleagues and meet friends and we were happy to see that we succeeded in this”, added Gerhard Wahl, Chair of the Scientific Program Committee.
The diverse scientific program was complemented by the official award ceremony of the 2015 André Schroeder Research Prize, a short presentation of the ITI Online Academy as well as an industry exhibition, which provided an overview of the latest products in the field.
