Around 200 participants attended the ITI Congress Denmark in Nyborg on May 27. Entitled “Regeneration”, the congress offered lectures on topics as diverse as treatment planning, treatment of soft tissue complications around implants to improve esthetics, the use of growth factors and stem cells in oral implantology and esthetic prosthodontic solutions. The program was arranged by Simon Storgård Jensen, Søren Schou and Merete Aaboe and included top international and national speakers – among them Ronald Jung, Urs Belser, Peter Lindkvist, Merete Aaboe and Flemming Isidor – who won the audience over with their extensive clinical and theoretical knowledge. The two lively interactive sessions, including a panel discussion, added the final touch to this intimate and outstanding scientific event.
Andreas Stavropoulos, ITI Communications Officer of the Danish ITI Section, was extremely satisfied with the congress: “We wanted to offer a challenging and clinically relevant scientific program providing information that can be put into immediate practice. The fact that all 200 delegates stayed in the lecture hall until the very end of the congress confirmed that we had succeeded.” The diverse scientific program was rounded off with an industry exhibition which provided an overview of the latest products in the field as well as a platform for people to extend both their professional and personal network within the ITI.
