More than 1’100 implant dentistry professionals gathered in Beijing from December 3 to 4 for the ITI Congress China. During the two-day congress held at the China World Hotel participants had plenty of opportunity to benefit from a well-balanced program, ask questions and meet colleagues.
Focusing on the management and prevention of risks and complications in implant treatment, the scientific program offered lectures on topics as diverse as digital implant dentistry, treatment of esthetic complications and future perspectives in implant dentistry. They were covered by a strong faculty made up of national and international speakers such as Urs Belser, Daniel Buser, Daniel Wismeijer, President-elect Stephen Chen, Lei Zhou, Dehua Li and Zhonghao Liu. “The feedback we got from participants was fantastic”, said Bo Chen, Chair of the Scientific Program Committee. “Not only did they appreciate the international spirit of the event with high-quality lectures held by renowned practitioners from all over the world, but they especially enjoyed the panel discussions led by experienced moderators such as Yucheng Su. Apart from providing a scientifically attractive program, one of the main aims of the congress was to spread the philosophy of the ITI and promote its scientific activities among Chinese practitioners. “The audience’s enthusiastic feedback and active participation confirmed that we had succeeded” commented Yiqun Wu, Communication Officer of the Chinese ITI Section and member of the Scientific Program Committee.
The diverse scientific program was complemented by a presentation of the ITI and its e-learning platform, the ITI Online Academy, as well as an extensive industry exhibition.
