“Evolution & Predictability“ was the topic of this year’s ITI Congress Brazil in Campinas which was attended by almost 400 participants. “The vast majority of participants were clinicians who work full time in private practice. We were hoping that the congress would help them to improve their work and from the comments I heard, I believe we achieved that”, said Wagner Rodrigues Duarte, Education Delegate of the ITI Section Brazil.
The congress included lectures by nationally and internationally renowned speakers as well as plenty of opportunity to ask questions and to interact with the speakers. “I felt there was a strong ‘excitement’ across the two days of the congress – the anticipation was fulfilled with generally a very high standard of presentations”, said Anthony Dickinson (Australia), who – together with German Gallucci (USA) and Simon Storgård Jensen (Denmark) – was one of the international speakers.
An industry exhibition was also part of the congress and provided participants with valuable information on current products and trends. “A great deal of interest was shown in our product portfolio and we had a lot of good discussions with participants”, said Daniel Sousa from Sirona, one of the ten companies exhibiting at the congress.
Especially appreciated by the participants was the case presentation session in which practical information was given. “High-level education, social gathering with colleagues and a good industry exhibition – everything was excellent”, notes Waldemar Daudt Polido, former Section Chair and one of the speakers at the congress.
