Monday, June 13, 2011The ITI Congress Benelux 2011 in Amsterdam, one of the most important events in the Dutch and Belgian implant dentistry calendar, has just come to an end. More than 300 professionals in implant dentistry attended the congress which was accompanied by an informative industry exhibition.
The Scientific Program Committee comprising Daniel Wismeijer, Chris ten Bruggenkate, Didier Blase and Geert Orbie has put together a unique program focusing on surgical and prosthetic topics as well as dental technique. In addition to various opinion leaders from the Dutch and Belgian ITI Sections, international guest speakers - among them Daniel Buser, Giovanni E. Salvi, Irena Sailer and Julia Wittneben - were invited to discuss the question "Speeding up procedures, but what if things go wrong?" Simultaneous translation into French was available for the entire main program. The congress also included a limited attendance session held in Dutch.
"We received very positive feedback from the participants and are already looking forward to the next ITI Congress Benelux which will take place in May 2013 in Antwerp", says Daniel Wismeijer, Chairman of the Scientific Program Committee.
